Sue Woodbridge

Sue qualified as a counsellor in July 2010 and completed a First Class Honours Degree in Person-Centred Counselling and Psychotherapy at the University of Warwick in 2012.

Sue is an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), listed on the BACP Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, and is bound by its Ethical Framework. Her aim is to enable clients to explore their difficulties within in a safe, non-judgemental and trusting professional relationship.

Sue has experience working with a wide range of clients including children, young people and adults. She is able to work with all issues a client may bring to therapy including work related issues and relationship concerns. Sue has additional specialist training and experience in working with clients who have experienced sexual abuse and with clients who experience difficulties following bereavement.

Sue’s previous qualifications include BA(Hons) Chemistry (University of Oxford) and  PGCE (University of Exeter). Prior to becoming a counsellor Sue was a teacher in the UK, teaching in primary schools and later running classes for parents and carers. She also worked in Bhutan as an advisory teacher for two years as part of Voluntary Services Overseas.
