Tendon Injury

Tendons are the tough fibres that connect muscle to bone. Most experts now use the term Tendinopathy to include both inflammation and microtears. Many doctors may still use the term tendinitis to describe a tendon injury. Most tendon injuries occur near joints.

Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSI)
are "injuries to the musculoskeletal system that are caused by repetitive tasks”. It is an umbrella term used to refer to several discrete conditions and will often involve damage to tendons.
